Salem 27RLSS

Hi,
Just came back from the Hershey show.
They have a 27RLLSS new for $17k show special.
We are moving up from a popup (Rockwood)and would need to buy a TV as well.
Would you recommend the buy or wait?
Thanks.

This is a personal choice. Is this the right RV for you? Do you think the price is fair? Are you ready to stop RV shopping? And are you ready to buy a TV right now?

I found that RV shows often have select units in this price range.

In my case it was a special sale price that made me take a second look at my Salem. However, I did take some time to think it over.

Take a few minutes to go over your needs vs. wants and see how the unit compares to your list.
Sometimes it's good to look at the next levels up and down to see if what you're getting is the vest value for you, in other words, "if I spend a little more, will I be satisfied a whole lot more?"

Thanks all...we decided to get the TV first.
I think the 26RLSS is about 5600 lbs. What's your TV? I think a 1500 GMC would work?

So maybe go to the the AC show next month.
i'm sure there will be deals at the shows.
I was wondering how you'all liked your Salem?
Seems ok to me...we liked the rear living room (couples model)...no kids, just labs.

I have. 27RLSS by Shasta 6590#'s and a Ford F150 a new 2014 Crew Cab 4x4 with EcoBoost, so you should be fine, just get the right WDH (Weight Distribution Hitch Assembly) and Sway Control

Pay more attention to your TVs engine and tranny gearing, not necessarily a 3/4 ton will be better than a 1/2 ton

3/4 ton would be better for most but not everyone can afford those either My F150 works well
