Salem Bunk-bed Question

Ordered a Salem last week and had a couple of questions.

On the Salem models, what is the size of the lower/larger bunk mattress?

Also, how does the trundle bed work? Is it meant to adjoin the lower bunk or as a standalone?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure of the size of the lower/ double bed bunk....but the trundle is usually floor level and pulls out when needed. What model is it?

I ordered a 404FB.

So is the Trundle Bed just a mattress pushed under the bed or is it an actual pop-up trundle?

Looking at pics on the net. Looks to be a popup trundle that is even with the lower matress. Congrats on purchase

If you have a link to a pic of it that would be nice. I saw what looked like a pad shoved under the bunk but also saw something with wood trim that looked like a pop-up on rollers that was back under there as well.

I own a 2013 Cruise Light 261 and the bunks measure: top 30"x74" and the lower 45.5"x74". I measured to look for some better mattresses than those silly thin ones.

Order a custom cut foam cushion from the Foam Factory. I've ordered twice- both times, the orders came quickly and their customer service was excellent.

Thank you for those measurements!

I am actually thinking I'll just rip both bunks out and put in a Queen-sized bed in the lower and put more storage cabinets in on the top.
