The side handles on my battery boxes were cut off too. With the lids on it not noticeable.

I have no idea if this would work on the CL models (due to space) but some members have used a long tool box to keep the batteries in. The tool box will need some mods because of the batteries wiring but it looks good.

So how did your PDI go? Is the trailer home in your driveway? Are you having fun stocking it and finding the right home for everything?

Some of the other FR models are starting to come with a battery disconnect but I haven't anything about the Salem or CL units.

I had it installed on my unit on the outside by the battery area. There is a push/pull knob that I push in to turn off the battery.

I am not which tyype it is atm, I will find out more on Thursday. I will post more info about it. They will install it once I have a chance to see it. This the rack we ended up with, its called a Sport Rack. They also reinforced the receiver area as you can see an addition bar across, behind the bumper. Which I can add mud flaps or something later on. Here are a few pictures:

And if we don't use the rack, we can add a bike rack or anything else that can go on the receiver. Now to figure out where to mount the spare tire
