I will report back to say how they work.
These vents worked very well. You can actually leave in the existing ring. Just pop out the vent and install clip in the new. Done! At $6 each I bought all 5.

Now if I can just find out where that cable TV splitter is? I need to rework it so that I can send my DirecTV signal to all connections.

Hi. Pulling OK with 2012 F150 EB with tow package, WDH and Reese dual cam sway control. Did a 6000km return cross country trip in 2015. Main issue was trailer sway in windy conditions as the 282RK is a big tailend heavy trailer. Sway control and upgrading tires to wider LT285/55R20 has helped a lot. My feeling is a F150 EB has adequate power but is just a bit light of a platform for a 35' TT. Preference would be to have a 3/4 ton diesel..but past my budget at the moment.

Not recommended, you want the slide to move with the rest of the camper or you could bind it up.

Thanks, after do some more research that seems to be the consensus. It actually does make sense when you think about it. I will do the X-Chocks instead.

I purchased a 2017 282RK in April and got through the summer loving it. Will be winterizing in the next few weeks. Can anyone tell me where to access the water bathroom under sink or bedroom under closet?

Does the 282RK have an 80" long bed or a RV queen? Thanks!

Make that a "short" Queen, which I think are 74". Just bought one a couple months ago. And even the short queen extends beyond the support board by a couple of inches; at least in ours.
