Salem lite 2000 model coax input not working

I have a 24 foot salem model.

This weekend we tried to hook up to the campgrounds cable tv. We used the jack on the outside of the camper, and we get cable tv inside the camper on one side, but on the other side, near the queen bed, there is a wall mounted tv table and jack, that jack is dead. I tried to trace the wiriing but I am out of luck, I assume that the splitter has corroded or wiring has come loose. Anyone ever do a tear down far enough to know where the wires run? Right now we have a cable running along the roofline, which looks like crap.

Is this the first time you've tried it, or has it worked in the past?

Did you take the main plate off the wall and see if all the cables are hooked up?

The outside cable entry should go to the main wall plate in the RV, which is the splitter and then go from there to the other locations.

First time i Have tried to use it. i Pulled the main wall plate off and see the 3 Coax cables All hooked into a Circuit Board. So i assume 1 is the cable in from outside of rv, and the other one should be going to the queen bed jack near the tv table, but the other is a mystery

Sorry to state the obvious, but the cable jack in our camper has a switch on it. Is there a switch somewhere?

Yeah that switch is just an amplifier similar to the amplifier you can buy at Walmart, it actually scrambles the channels if were hooked into cable tv, butni assume amplifys if it was hooked into an antenna.

I'm just saying that the switch will prevent the TV from working if the switch is in the wrong position. But it sounds like you already know that.

Yeah tony i learned that the first day from the campground owner, he said if im not getting channels to show up then I should make sure the booster is turned off. Turned out the jack is dead. I am going to bypass the triple tap and see if i get connection at tv stand, otherwise ill have to run a new cable under the cargo storage pass throuth, and drill up threw the bottom of the queen bed area, i would like an outside jack right in that area for outdoor viewing anyways.

Bob it has a "park cable input" on outside but like i said the queen bed area jack is dead, while the other is live.
