Size of black tank?

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum, and new to RV-ing. Recently purchased a 2002 Salem 24RLS, 27' 5th wheeler. We didn't get a manuel with it. Is there any way to tell the capacity of the black tank? I did do a search and couldn't find any information. Thanks for any help.

Congrats on your new to you RV. Enjoy it. I hope someone has a good answer for you.

If all else fails make sure tank is empty and start filling it up with 5 gal pails of water. It may take a little while but at least you will know.

a manual would have given you no info on the size of the tank, nor anything else about your Salem, since all you get is a generic RV manual.

try RVWeb.com and see if they have the specs. it has the most info on older RV's.

Thank you both for replying. I just got home from work and checked this thread. Tomorrow I will try RVWeb.com and see if I can find anything. Thanks again!
