Stabilizers on 2016 Salem

We have a 2016 Salem with electric stabilizers. Although we can hear the stabilizer motor running, the rear stabilizers will not extend or retract. We tried using the remote, but we had no luck. Does anyone know why the motor would run but the stabilizers won't move?

If motor run and stabilizer don't move, then usually a shear pin is broke.

Thanks for the trouble shooting info. I don't see the shear pin in the diagram, but I'm seeing several couplers. However, we are able to use the manual hand crank to get the stabilizers down. It seems that if the coupler were bad the stabilizers wouldn't move.

Here's what happened. When we first tried to extend the stabilizers, the front and back ones would not move. So we manually extended the front stabilizers. When we started to manually extend the back ones, we could hear the motor whirl. So we pushed the button again, and it worked. When we went to retract them, the front ones magically started to work, but the back ones would not work. We moved to another location. In setting up again, the front stabilizers worked, but the rear ones never worked again even though we could hear the motor. It's very strange.

The coupler close to motor usually has shear pin that will break.

If you look at the manual posted, on page 8 item #9 is where you'll find the shear pin. Also if you look on page 9 item #13 is the manual override. It's on the opposite end of the jackscrew from the motor, so the manual override will work even when the motor shear pin is sheared.

It would be best to start your own thread since it's a different product.
Here a link to the Bal C-jack manual.
Those units have two motors so the chance that you sheared both shear pins would be remote. Describe the problem you're having?
