Suggestions for modifications

Picking up my 195bh this weekend, and I'm a first time TT owner. What are some modifications that you suggest?
My initial thoughts are shower head, radio with outdoor speakers. Maybe an skylight in the shower to give me another couple inches of headroom.

How about vent covers over your roof vents and a surge protector. Maybe adding screens to your exterior water heater, furnace and fridge vents.

Look for wasted spaces.
Remove the decorative cabinet panels and look around.
This is the bottom of the bathroom cabinet in ours.

It will also help to locate the pump, filter and find out where the plumbing and wiring run. You might have a leak someday and you can check wiring for chafing,
and so on.
Have fun!!

Can we drill into the walls to mount things? Are there usable studs in these trailers?

Not that I've found. They only seem to put backer's were they expect something to be screwed in. I ran into this changing my shower rod. The old one screwed in horizontally, the new one vertically. The old one hit wood, the new one missed the wood both top and bottom. There must be a piece that was only an inch of so wide for that to happen.

I was trying to utilize wasted wall space with cabinet or shelf. I guess anything would just have to stick on? Like the 3M stick on hooks.

You might be able to find something, especially if there's anything existing in the area. Only way to know for sure is to try. Just be aware that if you find a stud, it doesn't necessarily go all the way down.

I found studs in mine. Look for little dots in the wall panel where they covered nail holes with a color- matched putty. Usually 2x2 studs so don't use long screws or you'll go out through the outside panel.

The studs can be found if you look closely at the wall for the staples they use to nail the panels, they put a putty in the holes or tape over the joints.

Happy camping.
