Tire Wear

Is this normal wear for travel trailer tires? We have had our camper for 4 years but have put less than 1000 Miles on it (we use it often just don’t take it far). We noticed this on the tires over a year ago.
It just seems like odd wear to me. It’s on the passenger side and this wear is on the outside.

I sure wouldn’t think there is anything normal about this. I’d get a professional opinion from a qualified tire shop though.

Definitely not normal, I have 2000 miles on my tires with no odd wear showing.

4 years and 1000 miles, there is something really wrong there. Is that the only one worn in that fashion?

Not very much Info so this is just a WAG,Salem unit = leaf springs = straight axle=Bent Spindle! Could be from Jacking up under axe tube favoring the Worn side! Youroo!!

Both tires on that side show the same wear.

My tires (China bombs) showed exactly same wear after similar mileage.

Either underinflated or there is some kind of alignment problem.

Not really sure about that. They were worn on outside a lot. Inside a little, and had weird wear patterns as if they were square.
Anyway, changed them to Carlisle HD Trail radial. Could not be more happier.

Update, did about 3000 miles during the summer on my new Carlisle tires, checked them with a tire gauge and they are all the same

You don't say which RV you have other than the brand. It might help to know, but at any rate, those axles and spring hardware need to be checked for alignment, wear, and straightness.

There's something out of alignment there.
