TV mount in bedroom
I have a tv mount I want to add to the bedroom of my 282rk hemi, what is the best type of screws / wall braces to use to secure it. The walls seem so thin and I don't want to have the tv tear the wall apart....or put a screw in and have it come out the other side.

You will have to mount it to a either a wall backup plate(factory installed) or you may be able to go directly into a wall stud using the correct anchors.

So best to talk to my dealer or fish a plate in through the cable wire hole.
Or see if there is a stud near by.

If the plate isn't factory installed, there isn't a way to get one in there and secured, as the walls are foam filled. Mounting to a stud or across 2 studs is about your only alternative, and even that will only accept a TV up to a certain weight. I wouldn't hang 50" on an RV stud.

Just a fyi. I took the mount to the dealer and they were able to mount it to the right of the power outlet. No problems at all......thanks for the advise. (Oh and he didn't charge me....even better)

Could you post some measurements and pictures of it installed. Also what type of mount you used and where you bought it.
I have the same TT and would like to do the same thing.
Thanks Tim.

Bedroom TV
We are new RVers and have a 2014 28' ft Hemisphere lite - in the bedroom there is space and a coax cable for local tv but no park cable or dish. Our dealer said some don't come with cable wiring in the bedroom. We do have it in the living area. Any suggestions from you pros? on how we can wire cable into bedroom?
Thanks! The Molitor's

The cable is hooked up to the park cable or attena. If you run cable TV in make sure the little black button near the satalite/cable comes in at the living room is turned off...if you want to use the attena for local over the air attena then turn that on by pushing it. Now I use satilite and I have directv so I bring the swm in and power to dish through the satilite in then I take the satilight dish receiver into living room and to to the bedroom at night. I take the output from the swm power plug into the cable jack with the attena turned off the plug the cable in the bedroom into my reviewer and whala three choices in one.

Our Windjammer TT came with a reinforced mounting plate in the bedroom, so we didn't have to worry about locating a stud, or tearing the wall out. We got an articulating wall mount to hang it on. This particular mount makes it really easy to take the TV off and lay it on the bed for traveling, or bring it inside the house when we're back home.

It looks like the price has gone up about 25% since we bought it a year ago, so maybe you'll find something more to your liking.
Mike, sorry to hear about your health problems. I hope you see a quick recovery.

It's only a small stroke when it happens to someone else.... Hope your recovery is quick and complete.
