Two Gray Tanks, ???

I have a 2013 Salem Hemisphere 312QBUD TT. I have two gray tanks that equal 62 gal. total. Can anyone tell me from what drain goes to what Gray tank, and many gal. each tanks is? If I get a chance I'll have to run water in each drain one at a time and pull the drain at each gray tank and see which one it comes from. Just want to have a better idea on how much I can use each drain when camping without sewer hook up. Thanks

First time out camping this year, everything went good. Little chilly at night, got down to 39 at night here in NW Ohio. But anyways I checked out what drain gos to what gray tank. Kitchen sink, Bath Sink & Tub go to Tank #1 and outdoor sink goes to Tank #2. Is their any chance if one tank gets full before the other it over flows to the less full one?

Very unlikely.

Galley tank capacity

I have a 2013 Salem 27rkss with a grey water tank capacity of 69gallons. I can not find the capacity of the Galley tank anywhere. I have separate fill level lights on control panel and separate drains so I do not think they are connected.

I have the 2014 ak2612 with the outside kitchen. Where does that sink drain to? Can I add additional grey tanks? My unit has 106 fresh tank & extra 60 gal fresh tank

The only way to know for sure is to run water at that sink and see what gray tank it drains out of. What about using a portable tote to handle gray water...much less expensive than adding a permanent tank. You may not have any room for one between the frame rails without other interference.

The Salem 27rkss grey water tanks are not connected. Good luck in getting capacity, a friend has had one for 2 years and has been asking the same question. The manufacturer rep did not even know there were 2 tanks. We are going to fill the galley tank and empty into 5 gal buckets to get an estimate when we are together in August. I will post the results if you do not have an answer by then.

The easiest way to add an additional tank is to buy a portable "honey wagon", but you will need a place to dump. I can't imagine trying to retrofit an additional holding tank to a TT.

when I wanted to know I just ran a hose into the shower, sink, other sink, and kitchen sink and waited to see which light/ control switch it indicated, did it for all the tanks, 2 black, 2 gray

When I bought my used 5ver the labels for the two grey tank valves were faded and couldn't be read. So I went to Wally World and got some of those colored pellets that kids put in their bath water to make it a certain color. They have about 5 different colors.

I disolved one in the kitchen sink and another in the bathroom sink. Drained the tanks and that told me which went where and which valve controlled it. I then did another color in the shower and learned it used the same tank as the bathroom sink.

Just an idea...

I gave the rest of the pellets to the grandkids.

Thanks but I know which drains where. I am trying to find how big the holding tank is for my Galley(kitchen) on my Salem 27rkss. the galley has its own level light and separate drain on other end of tt from the grey water for bathroom which is 69 gallons as listed in tt info. I cannot find anywhere the capacity of the galley tank though.

Are you able to see your tanks or are they enclosed? I got the manufacturer PN and name off mine and looked them up.
