Walk on the roof?

I have a 2007 Salem LE 22 foot camper. When I clean and maintain the roof, can I walk on the roof? I have been told NOT to get on it at all, and I have had other camping friends tell me it is good to walk on it.
Can anyone tell me for sure yes or no?

Need more Info,How much do you weight/how big are your Feet/how big are your hands-in case you walk on your hands and feet while on the Roof/is there any hidden structal water damage to the roof/ Really all here on the Site would be (Guessing) just like your friends,50/50! Youroo!!

Mine has a 200lb limit/rating as per the OM just before our first trip I got up there on my hands and knees to wash it and look it over.
I weight 205lbs.
