What is this behind my stove?

There is a wooden panel that I wondered if it's a knife holder or a vent. It doesn't have an oven, just a 3 burner stove.
Btw this is 2011 Salem cruise lite

Well, there is one behind many stoves that I've seen while shopping and the salespeople always call it a knife rack.

And just be aware they can become very hot knives if the oven is one, don't ask me how I know ☺

And now we know where the saying "Like a hot knife through butter" came from.

Vent for Heater

My Roo has the heater under the oven. I believe that may be a vent.

Ours has this and the salesman said it was a knife rack. We don't have an oven there but the hot water heater is under the drawer below the "knife rack". The knives flop around and make racket, it's not satisfactory. I have decided it really is a vent and I'm getting a magnetic knife rack for our mh.
