I don't have an outdoor kitchen or shower (opted out of them). So, just for the galley and bathroom I used a little over 4 gallons. We don't use our fresh tank or pump but I ran an additional gallon into the fresh tank and recirculated with the pump just in case. If you have the shower and outside sink, I would guestimate 6 gal, 7 to be safe it's not that much $$.

PS Make sure you drain the water heater and put it in bypass before putting any A-freeze into the system.

To clarify - that "other tube" isn't a fresh water overflow, it is the fresh water tank vent line which should be routed up to the vent connection next to the fresh water tank fill spout. I don't know why FR insists on routing that line down instead of up on so many of their TT models. I fixed this on mine, now I don't lose 1/3 of the tank's contents going down the road!

Low point drain

Should I close this low point drian after draining, when pumping antifreeze in system for winterizing camper?

Close the low point drains, but leave the fresh water tank drain open especially if you move the camper after winterizing it.

What are the 2 lines that come out underneath the trailer near the water heater? One is red and one is blue and both have screw on caps.

Those are the low water drains for the hot and cold lines.

If you open the red line you will exit the Matrix and become its master. If you open the blue line you will winterize your camper and forget about camping until spring.

And remember to cap them BEFORE pumping the pink stuff! I forgot this morning and pumped a whole gallon of antifreeze onto the ground. It only took about 1.75 gallons of antifreeze to winterize my 282RK not counting the waste.

I found my two low point drains, drained the lines and put the caps back on, but should I have left the fousets opened or closed after pumping the antifreeze in?

Incomplete! You say nothing about the consequences of opening both (blue & red) simultaneously.
