2016 365 SAQB Help needed: Inverter not working

When we flip the inverter switch, it does not light up and there is no power to LG refrigerator. We checked the cables at the batteries and they are hooked up. We have tried it when the electric cord is not attached. Where else to troubleshoot?

We are not sure where the inverter is located. The guy at the dealership said something about "maybe it's in the outside storage area close to the stairs". I don't want to start tearing out panels with such vague directions.

It should be the panel that would give you access to your stairs,

2016 365 SAQB Help needed: Inverter not working

There should be a red switch in the basement that will serve as the main inverter power. It has to be on and the switch on the panel on for the inverter to work. The switch I am referring to looks more like a battery disconnect.

That is how my 376BHOK is. Mine is on the forward wall near the curb side of the basement.

The switch you're referring to is the battery cutoff switch

Sounds like you got a very poor PDI.
New owners need to hold dealerships responsible for a satisfactory PDI.

The "battery cut off switch" that the previous have mentioned is not a total "battery cut off switch". It only disconnects the battery leads to the inverter. This is the case in the 371REBH. Probably the same in yours. I inadvertently turned my switch. I dug in to find the inverter to the rear of the outside storage compartment. Yes, under the interior stairs, but accessed from the storage compartment. Long story short...start with the easy fix.

We found the unit through the vent in steps, easier than unscrewing the pass through panel. Also found battery disconnect switch behind our packed cargo. It sounds like a double negative, should it be On or Off? On is disconnecting from battery or Off is disconnecting from battery?

Nope. My 376BHOK did not have a "battery cutoff switch". I confirmed that right before pulling out of the dealers lot. Right or wrong, the switch I am referring to is wired only to the inverter. Didn't believe it myself until I traced the wires and verified the function.
