356RL power outlet wiring and breaker problems.

I have a new 356rl sandpiper and I am having problems with the outlet breaker blowing all the time. From what I can tell all the plugins are on the same breaker and it is only a 15 amp breaker. I am checking into the size of all the wire to see if it can support a 20 amp breaker but other than that I am stumped on how to fix this problem.

There is an extra slot to add a breaker but I don't know how exactly all the wiring is ran. Whether everything is piggy backed or ran separate would help but without a diagram I'm not sure how to go about figuring this out.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm tired of flipping the breaker for having a tv on and my girlfriend using the blow dryer!! Thanks!!

First of all, I am sure the wiring will NOT support 20 amps. Probably all 14 gauge wiring, and that means 15 amp max. A 1500 watt blow dryer takes about 12.5 amps. That only leave 2.5 amps or 300 watts left. You have stuff running on 110 volts when plugged in, like your converter, that draws 100 watts or more. Guess you better get her a smaller wattage hairdryer. Else she needs to dry her hair when you aren't watching television.

You might could add a breaker and run a dedicated plug somewhere, but that is not always easy. Depends on layout and how many walls you have to run through, etc.

I have the same problem in my 34ft windjammer. It all depends what you want to use. We make the coffee first in the morning then plug in the toaster. If DW is using the hair drier I turn off coffee maker. All the outlets plus the fridge are on the same breaker. If the fridge comes on when we are using a high watt item we will blow the breaker. You will have to be careful what you use because if you go over the 30 amps you will trip the main breaker.

First off you can always stuff an orange ext cord thru
the slide gasket and out to your power post.
All power posts have an extra outlet on it's own breaker
out there.
