365 too tall for that limb!

We had another great weekend camping, but on the way home a slight inconvenience.

Took a longer route home as my truck went into regen and without any need for getting straight home, the boys and I took a detour. While only running 25mph or so, I knew it would be close and never heard anything. Got home to find this!

This is the rear air too! The front one is hit in the same place, but only has a crack in it. Guess it's time to start looking for one or get out the fiberglass repair kit.

Monty

Custom! You won't find another one like it, I think it actually makes it more valuable

Had some thing like that a few weeks ago at the dump station at a state park. Normal height trailers had no problem. My motor home and 5th wheels would hit the tree limb on the way out of the dump station. Had to ask the people behind me to back up some so I could back out of the dump station. The guy behind me was glad I noticed it because he would have hit with his 5th wheel.

I'd buy one of those baseball stuck in the windshield graphics you see sometimes on the back of cars and install it over the hole in the cover...now that would be unique

That'll be easy to patch back in, but I've got to ask. You tow a Chevrolet dually around so that when the Ford breaks you can keep on going?

You were more fortunate than the Raptor toy-hauler I followed home last Thursday. He was oblivious to the numerous 12' 8" low bridge signs he passed before he sheared off both of the a/c units off the top of his rig. Being a two lane road I didn't have a chance to pass him to warn him. It just shows we all need to be aware of what's in front of our rigs.

You guys are hilarious!!! The Chevy has the 8.1L/Allison/4.10 combo that just can't pull the 15.5k Sandpiper on the interstates very well at all. Not nearly enough torque. I bought it first, then bought a 5er too big for the truck, then bought a '10 6.4L, then got smart and bought the 6.7L! I had a back injury a couple of weeks ago and didn't feel I should lift the kayaks onto my wife's Odyssey, so she drove the Chevy so the kids could have the kayaks.
As far as the A/C shroud, YES, I got really lucky. I called my dealer this morning and they will have me a new one first of next week for around $90, so, not so bad. I hadn't thought about "dressing" it up until my son said that it need a HUGE band-aid over it!

Sorry to hear you hurt you back Monty. What happened to much golf? Or should you have called for a Fire Department dispatch to assist with lifting. Those assist EMS with lifting at 3:45am are right up there next to AFA calls in the middle of the night. Hope your doing better soon.
