UPDATE: The axles and wheels were installed at the dealer last night and this morning. The weight label was not sent due to a mix up at Sandpiper, but after talking with the GM of Warranty yesterday, the label is going to be made and sent quickly. I left the dealership after checking the wheel torque, and headed down the interstate. Man, what a difference. The trailer is much more stable without the pitching and swaying it had before. The trailer appeared to be a little taller than before, so I measured it when I got it home. It is right at 1 7/8" higher to the frame than on the other axles. My guess is that these springs will settle too. Time will tell. Overall, I am very pleased with the ordeal. At first I was very skeptical, but after talking with the people involved, it became a matter of time, not if something was going to be done. The people at Sandpiper were easy to talk to after I presented the weights and pics of the labels. Every conversation was cordial and professional. And NO, they didn't ask or 'require' me to say this! I am very pleased that they listened and investigated the problem. However, I was a little discouraged at the length of time, but I do realize they had to get several people together to reach a solution. I will strongly consider FR products in the future due to the way this issue was handled. As for now, I am going to enjoy my camper as much as possible(if the weather cooperates that is). I would really like to thank all of you guys here on the forum as well. Your insight and knowledge is remarkable. I admire the way that you share experiences, good or bad, so that others may learn. So, a heartfelt THANK YOU!
Here is a pic of the axles and wheels installed.

To all of you that winter camp and the ones that have to wait until spring, Happy Camping!!

Golf Medic, glad to see your trailer is done and all is well. Thank you from all of us for the work you have done on this matter. I am going to weigh mine now as when we go out there are 6 to 10 with the grand kids. Mine will be heavy as I have slide toppers on all slides and the front AC. It did great on our trip to Yellowstone but only my wife and I packed for that trip. Again congratulations.

Thank you. It started off just trying to get some feedback from other owners with their campers since I realized the problem I had. I hope that some of you campers out there have learned as much through this process as I have. Thank you guys for letting me 'vent' on here at times. As I stated earlier, I am very pleased with Sandpiper's response and professionalism throughout the process. This forum and its members are a wealth of information that is hard to beat. I had a lot of encouragement along the way and several great suggestions. SuperCab79 and I have had a lot of dialogue on this issue and as we discovered, have a lot in common professionally and personally. So even more good has come out of this. Again, a big 'Thanks' to all of you for your support.

Thx -just ordered 365SAQ with 7k upgrade

Really appreciate this thread; prior to reading it I had already been questioning FRs axel choice given the size of the coach. This thread only confirmed my axel questions/concerns.

We placed our 2013 365SAQ order two weeks ago via the dealer; the dealer never mentioned an axel upgrade as a possible option. I contacted the dealer this week and requested the axel upgrade be added to our deal (a $750 upgrade here in Canada). The dealer today confirmed the upgrade will be made. We are looking to take delivery of our Sandpiper 365 SAQ in mid March. The family is counting the days.

This will be our first 5er, but definitely not our first RV.

Congrats on the purchase! We absolutely love ours. We looked at everything out there, but still came back to the 365saq. It just had the layout and few things we wanted and is great for kids of all ages. I like new placement of the outside fridge in it's own hatch, and may make that modification on mine.

We looked at many many campers and too, came back to the 365. We had a 355 QBQ to begin with but my wife never liked the kitchen cabinet at the front door obscuring the view and I wanted a deeper interior cabinet color. We tried to have the factory flip the kitchen around but was going to cost a little over $3000 and take three extra weeks. So that was a no go. Eleven months later I go to my dealer for a water filter and they pull in with a new 365 and we ordered one the next day. So now I am forbidden to go to the dealer for filters! LOL! Congratulations on your purchase and may you have as much fun with yours as we have with ours!

In case any of you have Photobucket, you may notice that your pics may no longer be in your posts. That has happened to me, so here are a few of my pics that have been deleted. NO THEY WERE NOT DELETED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN PHOTOBUCKET
Here is a pic of my first weight sticker on the side of my camper

Here is the truck and trailer together at the lake:

The wheels that FR sent (I asked for these) when the axles were delivered:

I am reposting them so others can see what was actually in the posts. I, for some reason can't edit them now, so here they are.

can't wait to get to my trailer and check the weights. this forum has really shown me how ignorant I was operating a trailer. working in the marine field, make fun of idiots every day who have more money than sense. embarrassing to put myself in that category here. thanks again for all the knowledge.

Once we began discussing this here, that became one of my goals. To make people aware of just what they are pulling, not taking the dealer or factory's word for their setup. I do not believe this is just a 365 problem, or a FR problem. As stated, I am far from the weight police, just very interested in what I am towing now.

That's a great looking set-up you've got there! I'm very interested in the bike rack that you have in your pic. We're in the market for one & I can't say I've seen one like that.
