I order a 2015 Sandpiper Select 32RE with solar back end of January with Polar Tech package.
I hope this or next week it will make it to the dealer.
The sales lady didn't understand why I wanted the Polar package.
Manufacturing has been improving over the years & are not in the 1980's.
I am a commercial carpenter and it like everything you get what you pay for.
You buy bottom line e-glass windows and you have a chance of problems.
My father work on in the RV business for over 30 years from retiring from Navy of 25 years.
I bought my 1st traveler trailer 1979 Wilderness in the 1991 and had until 1999 working on the road. I work in the south and live up in Lake City, Tenn. one winter between jobs and had frost warnings and the temps hit in upper 20's.
That was a cold week it was nice to visited Grandma during the day, burn some LP.
I was raise up in Wisconsin and work on my uncle farm, my younger brother played all the time in -35* to -45* our friends stayed inside.
I guess coming from southern California from NAS Miramar we weren't smart enough. LOL
It all depend how much your going to use it?
Spend the money is cheaper than order one later.
In Monroe, Michigan there are about 18 RV in the RV park this winter being live in.
Beside my furnace & A/c should have to work that hard compare to standard RV.
In 15 years I should be able to retire myself, this RV is my last.
I enjoy all the feedback that everybody gives each other.
It all positive.
