Hello all! I am the proud new owner of a 2016 371REBH. My wife has tasked me with purchasing and installing a washer and a dryer in the unit. We would like separate units.
Has anyone installed separate units? If so, what do you recommend (brand/model), did you have any installation issues? (Trim removal etc...)
We have a Whirlpool washer and dryer set in our 360PDEK. Our dealer did the install as part of the agreement. Looks fairly straightforward. Only labor is cutting a hole in the side wall for the vent and that should be marked on the closet wall. Other than that getting the units in will be the fun part. Good luck.
Update! My wife's parents traded their 5'er and we were able to inherit their Splendide vented washer/dryer combo. It was a very straight forward install, that only required the removal of the bedroom door, and installation of the dryer vent! The unit works very well, and is a good addition!
We had a Splendide set put in by the dealer. Love them. Hey tuck into the sides of the closet. Reduces closet space but we don't live in it so no big deal
