Here is the MB AC with the ceiling cover off. I'm pointing to the open port you will plug into. You can see where the current comm wire is right next to it.

Sorry.... been busy with the satellite project and work.

The temp sensor goes on the wall (I think it said 52" up). I ran it from the AC through the ceiling to the wall. I couldn't get from the ceiling to wall without 2 exposed holes. I have a small hole in the ceiling next to the wall, and a small hole in the wall. You can see a very short segment of the wire. I haven't done anything to cover it up or plug the holes yet, as I'm not to worried about them.

My original plan was to use a cabinet to do the transition, but then I struggled with how to get it to the section of wall that it needed to be mounted to.

Note- use an interior wall.

Great Scott! I didn't even think about the cabinet. I have a closet right next to the wall segment where I wanted to mount it. That will be perfect! I also though about just mounting on the ceiling. I figured I would just need to adjust the temp a bit to accommodate.

Yep. The cabinet is a great place for the transition of you have a place to get from there to a clear wall spot. I didn't. The two holes that I drilled for the transition will have to work for me.

We keep the RV parked inside, and expect it to last us for a decade or so. As long as I'm the only one who knows about the holes, it won't cost me anything!

Yes. The sensor will plug into the control board along with the communications cable, and power.

There is also a plug from the upper unit that plugs into it as well.

80 degrees here at Ocean Lakes. Was 79 inside the camper in all 3 zones. Turned them on to 68, and they ran for about 30 minutes before shutting off. Tomorrow and Saturday will be the real test when it hits 90.

Side note.... other than winter camping here at Ocean Lakes, this is the first time that the main AC has ever turned off while here.

All good so far. About 85 out in full sun, and maintaining 68 in the living are. The units are cycling off and on as needed.

We reserve here at Ocean Lakes 12-18 months in advance. It fills up fast. Already booked for all trips here in 2018!

Would you mind telling me where you ordered your unit? Trying to get the best price. Locally definitely isn't it

Lol those are the hornblaster shocker 240 horns
There are4 of them. On a 5 gallon air tank.

I also use the air tank for the airbags on the truck. I can adjust them up or down as needed via the upfitter aux switches in the truck.

There so loud it startles people and takes people a few seconds to figure out there in the wrong to move!
