Air conditioner fan

We just got a 365SAQB in November. Last weekend I turned the AC on for the first time. The fans in the AC units are extremely loud, even on Low. Am I missing something or is that how loud they are now??

Did you have the quick cool dump shutter open or shut?

The fans are somewhat loud even with the quick cool dump closed. Especially if you have the second ac in the bedroom. It's the price we pay for being comfortably cool!

Just remember that these a/c units have to push a lot of air through the ducting system to keep cool.

I bet you've never went and tried to sleep next to your central air/ furnace at home. They are just as loud. 😊 happy travels.

Mine had issues the bedroom unit had an unbalanced fan blade the living room unit had an untrue fan motor shaft the dealer replaced the fan motor in the LR and put stick on weights on the bedroom it helped a little but anything over low makes the roof and walls vibrate, they gave me the old industry standard answer.
