Low book was 23000.00, and I got it for 16000.00!
I also lucked out and got a In motion satellite dome with dual outlet for being able to watch different shows, in different rooms.
List was 2300.00, I got this used for 500.00!
Also installed a 1500 watt inverter by cobra, with the remote on/off.
Just plumbed the gas line out for a outside Camp Chef stove, and another outlet for the gas Fire ring, each have 40 feet of hose!
Next will be a much better rear bumper with receiver hitch for the 12 foot ATV trailer, and then maybe a new 120 watt solar pannel.
Cant wait for spring!
Thanks Coop
Just got the new bumper and receiver put on, and I ready to go!!!!

Just ordered the Sandpiper 30Z

Greetings!

We have been tent campers up till now. With a 2 & 4 year old we decided to move up to a TT. We have known what floor plan we wanted for months but couldn’t put it all together until the new Sandpiper 30Z came out. I’m so happy we have already made all our summer camp site reservations! Now for the hard part---waiting 5-6 weeks for our unit to be built while I start collecting all the stuff needed to do the RV camping program!

Newbie to this site. We have a 2003 Sandpiper 30 footer. Had it for almost two years. Taken it across the United States from Oregon to Virginia, no big problems except the grandkids plugged the toliet once, ugh! I think the trailer full gets close to 12,500# or so. Pulling is no problem with my truck just the fuel costs get you. Last year prices were bad but this year really bad as we all know.
The only other problem is that my bed room slide out worked periodically after chasing down the control board I found out that the board and contacts had seperated and caused a short took out the board and had it resoldered works fine noe. Guess that is a pretty common problem with that kind of control.
Thanks for the site I am sure many of my questions will be answered by the expertise of all on here...Ray

Our Sandpiper is a f30 with the Northwest Package I believe the Northwest package is some added insulation, raised up higher, and dual batteries. Don't quote me as I am the second owner of this 2003 trailer. So far this year we have made several trips but not long ones. I have rewinterized it three times this year. Over here in Central Oregon the temps still get down in the teens so I use a little caution and drain and purge the lines after use until around the first of May. We plan on going to Missouri to visit the oldest son pulling the trailer we are hoping the price in fuel will go down but who knows they {big oil} got us all right where they want us.

You have a nice fiver! Will try to send a picture of ours if I can figure out how to attach one. Me and computers don't get along very well. Use to the old school, pencils, erasers, and paper.
Ah hah, it did attach. Not a very good picture of the trailer just the wife telling me not to take her picture. We were up at Pendelton Oregon couple hundred of miles from home at the Wild Horse Casino RV park last May....Ray

Off for our first weekend to Port Aransas

My grandkids want to go camping in the RV so we are off to the Texas Coast, only the second time we have used it since we bought it. This is my first time on the forum, so far we love this Sandpiper fifth wheel.

Have fun we sure did in our trip from Oregon to Missouri. We then picked up our grandkids and continued on our vacation to Newport News Virginia. The fifthwheel handled vey easily and of course had all the comforts of home. I did carry two spares just incase but never needed them and also alot of electrical adapters for hookups in the different RV parks. Good luck and have fun...Ray

Thanks! That was one of the big things we love about it. You would think that with all the windows it would have a hard time cooling out. We just got back from a fishing trip a couple weekends ago and it was 95+ and the site they put us on didn't have a tree in site. You would have thought we were in the middle of the desert or something (LOL). With the 2 ACs it did great!
