Awning roller bowed.
Our awning roller has a slight bow in it. I believe we need a center support. I thought I read on the forum some time back, advice on best brand/type of support, and mounting directions, but I can't find it.
Anyone direct me???
Thanks in advance!!

What length awning do you have? Is it electric? I have had only one camper that ever had a support and it was 21 ft. Most now will have some bow to them. Can't say I've see a support on an electric awning. Later RJD

You can use a simple (Teeter Totter) type! They are very easy to install! If you drive beside a (16-21') Awning on a Unit going down the Road you can see the (Flex)! Youroo!!

Best way to fix the bow is with a MX57 reinforcement insert in the tube.
MX57 (*Single unit) - MX57

If you use the (MX57) this will be a Total removal and Dismantle of your Awning! Cut into and Insert the (MX57) then Weld it! Might be cheaper and Might be stronger than a New tube if Yours is (Damaged) but for a (Bow) I would just put a (Storage and Down the Road Support) on your unit! Youroo!! PS 99.9% have a BOW!

Not correct, you can just remove the motor end, slide the MX57 inside and put the motor back on. No welding or cutting required or needed. Very simple and easy way to fix it permantly.

Awning roller bowed.
Our dealer suggested we have a center support installed during the walk-thru of our 35ROK. We did. It cost about $30 installed.

Wow that's grate to have a dealer recommend something that could be an issue later on. Was cheap enough also. Later RJD

We had and still have a bow in ours. It's 21' and we had a sport installed in the center it was mounted on the outside of the coach under the awning it flips down when the awning is extended and flips up once awning is fully retracted. Our local RV dealer did it for about $45. The support was $30
