Does anyone know how to change the light bulbs in the ceiling? I have taken the light out of the ceiling and tried taking off the frosted cover. Any ideas?

Hi. You don't need to take the fixture out but now that you have it's probably easier. The lens is just pressure fitted onto the housing. Took me a while to figure it out. Tried twisting the lens to release it. Our Jayco was like that. A fingernail or maybe something thin that will not chip or crack the lens gently prayed between the lens and the housing will work. When the fixture is still in the ceiling you can pull it down enough to do it too. The lens just pushes back in.
FYI. The G4 20w bulbs in Home Depot are almost $6 each. I got pack of 10 on Amazon for under $6

Also. The recessed light lens in the cabinet above the TV, if you have it, is a twist type. Bulb is same as ceiling? Learned that after I broke one of the clips trying to get it off. I had 3 ceiling bulbs and that one go in one weekend. While on the subject I had a hard time finding the 1076 bulbs for the hanging fixture over the dinette. No auto part store had them. Also bought on amazon. KOA store did have though.
Hope this helps.

I replaced all my overhead lights with these. Side Pin G4 15 LEDs Bulb White for Marine Boat Sailboat Yacht Interior Light | eBay
You can't tell the difference in light output. You can have 7 of these on vs one halogen for the same draw.

One question for you guys. I'm trying to change the bulbs in the bathroom fixtures but I can't get the new bulbs in, my fingers are to big. Is there a way to get the frosted glass covers off without pulling the whole fixture?

You need 4 people. One person to stand on a chair and hold the light bulb and 3 people to turn the chair.

couldn't help myself.

You would be on to something if the bulb was threaded.

You can't without taking fixture off. Take off two threaded caps on sides. Flip fixture over and the screws on back release the brackets holding lenses on. It's quick.

I'm having lighting problems with the pendent lights and the pot lights in the rig. Can't get my hand up in the fixture to push it up and turn it. Basically I'm sick of the way FR designed the lighting. I'm taking the rig to a private rv tech and have them give me an estimate to change out the crappy lights and install ones that are user friendly. I'm tired of trying to change the bulbs and getting nowhere.
