Finally pulled the trigger
After a months of comparing floor plans, pricing, and posting endless questions on this and other forums, I've put a down payment on my first RV, the Sandpiper 371REBH with RV Wholesalers.
Wish me luck and thanks for all your help!

Congrats. I put money down on a new Sabre with them as well today. The extra money off helped sway the decision to go ahead with the order. I ordered and think you were doing the same? It'll be interesting to see when they come in.
Happy Campin!!

Yes, I got in on yesterday's sale, but I'd been working with one of their salesmen for a month. My savings over the local dealer wasn't huge but just enough, combined with what appears to be strong customer service, to get my business even though I'm an 8 hour drive away.

Congrats.. I just bought a 2015 330 RLS this weekend. Spent months looking at all kinds. So happy that part is done. Now can anyone advise me as to extended warranty companies. My dealer is trying to sell me SAL protection plan

The only one I can recomend is the Forest River second year for $250.00. Dealers have a tendency not to bring it up but for $250 Forrest River will take your 1yr to a 2yr warranty. Nothing to do with the dealer, you will need to fill out the paper and send the check into FR.
As for the other warranties, lot of people say they are not worth it. I bought one for my first camper and never used it, always fixed it myself. Your roof and most things of concern have longer warnty anyway.

Congrats on the new trailer. Take the money you would have paid for the warranty and put it into a savings account. This will pay for most repairs. After four years the money is still yours. If you buy the warranty and never need it you just lost a good bit of money.
