Flooring Issue

I have noticed an issue with my 2014 365SAQ floor when the heat runs. When the heat is running through the floor ducting there is air getting under the vinyl flooring creating a small air pillow to the kitchen/living room flooring. Anyone else experience this? If so, how were you able to cure? I tried loosening the vent grate in front of the television cabinet and rolling the air out while the heat was running to try and tighten the flooring down and re-tightening the vent great. It worked somewhat. I'd be interested in other remedies...

Flooring Issue

Maybe you can pull the vent cover and put some staples around the edge to secure vinyl and re-install the vent cover - might need to use some gorilla tape too...

Make sure you do this while furnace is NOT running 😉

Seems the issue has to do with restricting the flow of air with a vent filter. I had installed a filter to keep dog hair and dirt from entering the air ducts. Seems that I can not use the filter in this particular vent. I tried to seal the flooring with tape to prevent air from entering, however, it still fills up with air. Situation is resolved if I remove the filter, but that puts me back to square one with the dirt and dog hair. Any other preventative ideas for keeping debris out of the ducts? Bounce sheets dont cure this situation either...

My first 365saq did the same thing. FR even replaced the vinyl floor and it did it still. The whole floor would lift up and around the entertainment center would ripple. I finally traded for a new one that doesn't do it.

Not to hijack this tread, but.....
Let me know if you ever come across a fix for the debris issue. We did the same thing with the filters in the vents (same reason - dog hair) but found the filters too restrictive.
Thanks,

Larry

Does anyone know the size air filter fit in the floor registers? I have a 365saq. 4x12?

Have you tried screen wire instead of a filter?

I sealed the register transitions to the floor with alum duct tape to just make sure there were no leaks. Never had a problem with the vinyl flooring lifting.
