Friction Entrance Door

Ok I know it's supposed to be an upgrade over the regular door but we hate it! A stiff wind still blows it shut and it's a pain in the rear when going in and out especially to kids! Does anyone know how to get rid of this and return it to a normal door? I tried oiling it, dousing WD 40 over all the hinges but that didn't help at all. I'm looking at taking the door off and trying to figure out what makes it so stiff but thought I'd check here first for some ideas.

Friction Entrance Door

As said above, door latch just like the non friction ones. Simple fix.Very easy fix.
Idk why you need to take the stiffness out of it.Latch it and stiffness doesnt matter if your concern is the door blowing closed.

I want to take the stiffness out of it. You can't just swing it closed without putting great effort into it. The kids run in and out and leave it open half the time. It's just a pain in the rear!

I would guess you would need to prep place the door hinges to get rid of the "friction"

I was going to replace the hinges but they're riveted onto the frame! Of the trailer. They're screwed to the door and are two piece. I disconnected half of the top one and half of the bottom and it helped considerably
