Not really. I did get an adjustable vent though so I could close it if needed.

X2 on check the ducts. I had one that was totally closed off due to a Romex run that was too tight over the duct. Also when checking the bedroom vents for blockage, I found that FR used 2" heat duct running to a 4" vent.

Probably one of the few things I have not encountered on our rig, LP heater works perfectly but I only use it if it's really cold. What I did was install the strip heaters in each of the (3) Brisk Air units, zone 1 uses the LP heater as priority and the strip as a back-up, zone 2 and 3 use the strip as primary. If I don't need the LP heater in zone 1, I just leave it off. Works great and keeps the chill off. The heat strips are about $53.00 apiece and really simple to install. Gives me about 3060 watts of heat in zone 2 & 3 on the A/C circuits and I don't need space heaters bleeding off power from other circuits. Brad, sure sounds like a ducting issue causing a backflow/pressure problem causing a hi-limit trip. Hope you get it figured out.

Yes i too added two heatstrips to our two brisk air units. The zone one ac was a blizzard unit so i couldnt add the strips to him.

I havent messed with it anymore but i didnt shorten the duct work and make the bents straighter so the air would flow better.

I almost think the ducts in the camper are to small or the vent they used is too small.

We dont camp much in the frigid cold but the heat strips work decent after you get the camper warmed up. I did notice that they dry the air out bad but thats to be had with the strip heat.

Ive winterized it and tucked away in the shed until spring time. Not sure what i will do when i get it back out.

I hear ya! We're getting ready to head out on a 3 month trip (probably early Feb) heading to the left coast via the southern route then north up the coast and finally back across to the right coast via the northern route. Lots of stops just not sure where but should be fun. Now that I THINK I have all the issues fixed were ready to go. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Of course we're out and in 70-80* weather here in Tx!!!!!! Maybe tomorrow I'll get a chance to test the heat with the old thermometer and see if I'm cycling too.

I thought ours was working well too. HA! I've got the same cycling problem as Brad. I checked ours yesterday and it runs up to about 140 at the vent in the living area then drops to about 95 then runs back to 140 where it will cut off and drop back down. I was sitting in the master this morning with the window open and could hear it cycling too. The fan didn't cut off but you could hear the jet exhaust out the side go on and off.......Guess I'll be looking for crimped duct work myself.

Lol we have to have the same rig! We both have the same problems!!
I havent checked anymore since i found it. But was going to install two atwood inline fans both on the livingroom side. I dont need anymore heat in the bedroom as it will rise up there.

Dometic has issues i believe. The a/c now the furnace.

Let me know what you come up with ill go check mine to see if its the same way.
