Most do not use the gooseneck conversions because they void the warranty of the frame and put too much torque on the pin box. But since you already obviously have the B&W Turnover Ball hitch in the bed, have you seen this??? It is $499 for the one to fit the B&W. Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection
I personally think the Companion is the best out there..but that's just me! Oh! Welcome to the forum!

I'd just stick with a companion. Best out there in my opinion. You dont hear of people droping any trailers with it, and no stress on you pinbox like one of those cheezee adapters. I'd be scared to use an adapter on anything over 5k let alone a 12-14k 5er!

If you already have a B&W Gooseneck installed, buying your own Companion is an easy choice. It's a fantastic hitch and the folks who have them are rabbid fan boys proclaiming the wonder and awesomeness of their hitches.

I had interactions with 4 delivery drivers in the past couple of months- after watching them, I'm even more sold on my B&W Companion.

After looking at the anderson, I see no reason to even have it.? All it does is raise the ball up higher. Then you would still have to have an adapter if you had a kingpin hitch on your 5er. I don't see why they even make it????? Heck my goose neck trailer wouldnt even adjust high enough to use thier hitch.
I don't get it!

Apon further review I see Anderson has some kind of king pin clamp thingy that has a ball socket on it to use with thier higher gooseneck hitch.
Thier adapter still would give me doubts, and for a couple-3 hundred more you could get the wildly popular conpanion!

Very true Miller! I was just throwing out an option due to some people do not like the Companion. I have no idea why other than they have never used it and know nothing about it, but was just giving an option since they have the underbed system already. I can't tell you how much I love my Companion and also how many of my camping buddies are jealous of it!

Look into a reese, it's an air ride pin box that does not void frame warranty. We love ours.

Tweetys.com has one for about $879. New.
On used, just keep your eye on Craigslist. You can find them on there from time to time. And there is always ebay, but most on there will be new. It would be a pain to ship a used one.

That's what I have been doing . 2 years ago there were a lot of used ones at rv dealers around here . Then everyone got back into camping again . I owned a b&w companion before and knew I would regret selling it .

I agree with MillerTime, bought my companion on Craigslist for $300. It was almost new, It came with the truck this guy bought. I dont think he knew what he had... just keep watching online, a good deal might be worth a two hour drive.

I absolutely love my b&w companion. We have a 2014 360 pdek.the hitch is so easy to use and works like a dream...I also do hot shot delivery so I use my gooseneck hitch all of the time...it's very easy to put the fifth wheel in
