Question How to get TV off the wall

Hello,

I am helping a friend with a Sandpiper 5th wheel get satellite installed, and we cannot figure out how to get the lcd screen off the wall in the living room. Is there some switch or hook or something that's there that we're missing? We need to get to the jack behind the TV and change a cable out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Grab the tv firmly on both sides and raise it straight up.

It is set in a wedged slotted mount.

Mine has a couple screws into a small piece of wood accessible from the top. After you remove that you can lift it straight up.

Same with my tv. Look real close at the top, center for a screw. Took me a while to figure it out.

Ours (2010 8315BSS) with Toshiba TV has an inconspicous "latch" at the bottom of the wall mount. You have to release the latch with one hand while lifting the TV straight up. (easier with two people !!)
