I'd like to know what tires what everyone is running on their Sandpier?e

Seeing what b people are having the best luck with without a huge debate .

I am running the Goodyear G614s on mine. When my unit was delivered, there was a knot on the side wall the size of my fist. It was replaced and 6 months later I found a huge knot on the inside of another. I did away with the Chinese made tires then. No problems since.

No..I didn't have to when I had 6k pound axles under it. When FR changed my axles to 7k, I made sure they were rated for 110psi.

I have Goodyear G114's, H rated, 17.5 inch. So far so good.

Didn't realize this was for Sandpipers. Sorry.

Goodyear g14s are the way to go for the larger campers.

I know guys like the good years but holy cow I just priced them out and almost hit the deck. I do know there is an alternative in a G rated tire out there now. Monty has mentioned it in the past I believe it is called a salin or sualin I was hoping it came up on this thread so I could look into them. I too want the good years, but wow that's a big wad to lay down since we camp maybe 5 times a year all within 2 hrs of home. I dry rot tires long before I ever wear them out.

I've had good luck with Carlisle. They're made on the 3rd planet from our sun..seriously a good alternative to look at
