I agree with BigJohnD, never seen any that look like that, especially a new camper. Must of been what my dealer called a "Friday Camper", asked him what he ment and he said one the rushed out on a Friday. Ouch, I would bug FR about that til its fixed, as much as a camper cost, it shouldn't look that way.

You really should push the dealer to replace the whole underbelly. Or at least drop it and support it better. They did it on mine. Might have had something to do with it falling off on the way home from buying it. They replaced the whole thing and added supports.

I know, and the dealer agrees, simplest fix would be Tones repair. But FR has to ok/approve. Material is not torn. Just stretched. May get # for FR rep, and make sure my dealer is following thru.

David, sent you a PM. May give the dealer a chance, but in a lot of cases, you, we, us, as in the owners, have the better ideas and resolutions. FR doesn't have to live with looking at it every day. I'm very forward about telling the dealer, "tell me how you're going to do it before you touch it". If I don't like it, I'll spend my own money to get it how I want.
Hopefully, FR will do the right thing. You'll probably see the 2016 model new and improved with more supports / bracing underneath due to complaints.

Talked to rep. Dealer has ok (2hrs)to add more screws. I may buy some 2x2s and have dealer add them also.
I'll let y'all know the outcome!

Back to the dealer. Says he got answer from FR, but he doesn't think it will fix the problem . I'll leave it tonite, they're supposed to take the pan off , and come up with a fix. He'll let me know what they come up with , before repair(Thanks John). Here's hoping! I still have faith in my dealer!!

Back home!
Good morning! Got our camper back home last nite! Dealer removed screws, stretched it as tight as they could, and replaced with bigger self tapping galvanized screws. Looks pretty good! Awning lights replaced. So, we're planning a trip in two weeks(turnaround @ work). Thanks for the support and advice!

Dave,
I met with the for rep in Waco yesterday to get ours approved for repair and he said they now use a plastic material that has more flex than the hard fiberglass.....ours is so bad looks cheap...there were 15 other units on our dealers lot and all of them were just as bad as ours..piss poor excuse if you ask me...they don't use this material on the cedar creek.....we spend a lot of money for our so called luxury units we believe they should look luxury ....any way they would not approve anything to do be done since every unit on the dealers unit was the same as ours....unbelievable....this will be our last forest river

I've pretty much decided, if it falls again, I'll repair it properly. The Cardinal we traded in had a corrugated tin "winter package". It was a bear to remove for maint or repairs, but it never sagged!
Goes against the grain to pay this much, and immediately have to repair tho, doesn't it!
Good luck, and keep me posted!
