Looking at a 389RD

Hi From Texas, I am currently looking at a Sandpiper 389RD. Was wondering if there were any issues with the sliding glass doors that would cause concern, as well as any thermal issues.
Also, any thoughts on the 377FLIK?

We purchased the 389rd in January and have had no issues with the sliding glass doors. We had ours delivered from Ohio to Florida. Our experience with the 389rd is positive. It is perfect for us.

Avoid Fun Town would be my suggestion......

Holman? That's where we bought ours. I drove there to pick it up myself. 2000 miles round trip but it was worth it. Only cost about $500 in gas and food/hotel.

Bringing up a old thread here.

Has anyone camped yet in cold weather?

We are now in about 30 degrees.
The big door is nice in the summer but how to u stay warm in the winter?

Is there any insulation that can be put over the door?

Sorry to chime in on an old thread, but my hubby and I are looking to buy a
2019 Forest River RV Sandpiper 389RD.

The place we're looking at has 1 left and price seems right. We're moving up from a travel trailer.
Just asking how you all like yours and what to look out for.

Thanks!

The one we're looking at is at Country Roads Rv Center
