Love the 2016 381RBOK !!!!

The guys at Sandpiper/Sierra have done it again. I love the new floor plan with two complete bathrooms. It would make it much easier for those of us with kids as they age to have two complete baths. Very neat indeed!

Check out the sabre 36qbok.
Two bath plus the rear outside door, in the bathroom. So nice for the boy to just whip in the back door.
Not running through the whole camper.

We liked the Sabre 36QBOK when we saw it last year, but then we started taking a look at the places we camp and the back door would be quite useless for us or we would have to build steps to meet the steps on the RV. At many of them, the back side of our fifth wheel is 6-8 feet off the ground. This is great for viewing of the lake, mountains and even the ocean at a couple of them, but not so good at getting in/out. I'm not even sure the Sandpiper would work for us, but I sure am going look seriously at it.

6-8' off the ground!
Awesome. That would scare the pants off my DW.
I would love to see your rear jacks!!

The site that we use the most is a camphost site at Natural Tunnel and it has a gravel pad that is perfectly level, but then it drops off steeply. Our fifth wheel is 36' long and to have enough room to park both of our drivers, we back in as far as possible. Our rear stabilizers are on the wooden timbers that outline the site. Immediately behind the timbers, the site drops off at a significant rate.

I will try to find a pic of our site as we were set up this past summer.

If your rear stabilizers are still on the ground, you would have no problem with the rear door being on the ground then. The OK kitchen is past the rear door on the QBOK. The only thing you wouldn't be able to get to would be the ladder and/or bike rack.

Awesome plan, only thing I noticed was the bunks aren't as wide as the saq bunks, slides are not as deep, my children are 8 and 5 and like their big bunks in the saq, other then that love it

Exactly what I noticed while walking through it. I do like the rear full bath though.

I can't find this on the FR website, does anyone know what the weights are? Specifically empty and gross?

I took delivery Tuesday and mine dry was listed at 13100 and cargo was listed at around 2k lbs. But I do know they had others at up to 13800 dry. All 381s. From what I understand they tag them with their weight before they leave the factory.

BTW I also have an 11 Ford with the 6.7 only mine is the 350 CC 4x4 and it towed it home GREAT!!!!

Just ordered ours. So excited to get it! We had been looking for the right combination of bunkhouse, kitchen, 2 bath. Was looking at the SAQB but when this came out it fit our needs better.
