manual front jack

I'm new here, and i am also a new Forest River owner, I recently purchased a 2014 sandpiper 30IOK, so far i love it. it has a few minor things that i have already taken care of ie; water fitting had a slow leak they just needed to be tightened, a piece of trim wasnt nailed in in the bathroom, little things like that, but the one thing i noticed that i dont want to fix on my own is the front jacks (they work just fine but just in case) there is no hole for the hand crank to slide onto the manual piece, and it wont fit through the door where the propane bottles are, does anyone else have this issue? did my camper come with the wrong hand crank or did they just forget to drill the hole at the factory?
