Manual Landing gear Issue

I do not have an issue yet, but have a landing gear motor getting bad and is being replaced under warranty.

Issue is, went to check the manual lower and raise procedure and have found the mechanism I am so supposed to attach to the crank, is not in a position not can be reached with the crank.

Pics attached, what and I missing, it is off by roughly 3 inches.

As an update, talked with the dealer and they are getting a new crank.
