Maxx Air Covers

I'm thinking about putting Maxx Airs on my 376bhok. Does anyone know if the regular Maxx Air not the Max Air II will fit over the vent cover in the bathroom with the fan in it? I know it will restrict the airflow but I only use it to get the humidity out after taking a shower. I think the Maxx Air II models are taller and this thing is already a tight fit under some bridges.

Their website indicates they will both fit over most 14" x 14" standard roof vents. The Maxxair II is only a 1/2" taller that the standard Maxxair and offers twice the ventilation area. Link: http://maxxair.com/docs/105095.pdf

I would go with the MaxAir 2, it won't stick any higher on the roof than your A/C cover. You have twice the ventilation area as mention above.
I have them on all 3 vents on my Rockwood 8310 and just love them.

OK I might do the maxxair II then. I saw some posts on another board about them not fitting over a fantastic fan. Looks like they will though. Thanks for the help.

They will...you just may not be able to fully open the vent but most people say they can open it enough....I will be doing the same to ours this summer and the MaxAir11's are not that much more money...amazon has really good prices on them.

I picked up 4 of the smoke maxair II's today for 185 on eBay. Hopefully they'll show up for this weekend.

We have a Sierra 376bhok too! After watching a video on camping world dot com about this very subject, we went with the cover that was made for the fan. It's called fantastic fan ultra breeze vent cover. Watch the video, you'll see why, good luck!

Maxx Air Covers

I have one over my fantastic fan in bathroom.Fit without any issues.Pulls just as much air as before.Dont worry,it will work fine.No need to spend the extra coin for a "special" cover over a fantastic fan.As others stated it wont open all the way before it hits the top but it will open most of the way without any noticeable drop in air movement.
