Need Help Please!!!pics attached.

hey all, Kinda new to 5th wheels, have a 2001 Sandpiper 27rkss and im trying to figure out exactly what slide is on it. I THINK maybe its a lippert but all the lipperts I see have the actuator on one side...mine is in the center.

anyway, heres my issue, Slide operates fine, goes in and out, but when it extends, it stops about 3 inches or so short of the main seals pressing up against the wall. I lookes at the threaded rod on the actuator and the bracket is all the way at the end of the rod (in other words...no more adjustment to bring the slide out). Im stumped, is there something else that could be out of adjustment? Would someone please look at these pics and tell me if everything looks normal and what your thoughts are?

Thanks again sincerely, really helps to have a forum like this..!

heres the gap im talking about...note the gap between the slide and wall...this is where it stops....no grinding or clicking, just stops like its ran out of travel. The gap is just about even top to bottom and on both sides.

Have you checked to make sure your Hydraulic pump has plenty of fluid? Mine on my 2000 Cardinal would not close all of the way either, it was due to lack of fluid in the pump.

Yep...fluid is topped off. Can anyone at least point me in the right direction as far as what type of slide is on this thing a d where to get parts or how to identify who makes the slide?

The slide is probably 1/2 that distance or 1.5" from going out. There's always a bit of of a gap of the slide flange to the wall. I'm wondering if the square rails are full of compacted rust preventing farther movement. That carriage underneath should be cleaned up and painted to preserve it. My guess is its a older Lippert design based on the square tube guides, just a guess however. Why not call Lippert and email a photo, they are helpful.
