New sandpiper 30IOK LED Awning light problem

We bought a New sandpiper 30IOK and when we got it he we noticed that the awning lights was twisted up (see pic below) I called the dealer and said it could be fixed under warranty and was probley from the heat. The dealership is over 3 hrs away. Is this something I can fix myself or make the trip to the dealer? The LED's appear to be in a plastic track. Click image for larger version

You could find some two sided 3m tape or glue and put it back on yourself.

Ask them to send you the lights to do it yourself

Find glue and glue them back on.

I just bought a 30IOK and have read on here before I bought that there may have been a glue issue from the factory during certain manufacturer dates. One of the owners stated that during their PDI the tech noticed it, made the comment that it just be a bad glue batch as it was the 8th he had seen like this. The one I own does not appear to have an issue.

The LED strip seems to be in a plastic track that has twisted. It looks like the plastic track is part of the awning. Someone had mentioned that the awning may have to be taken loose from the camper to remove the track.

Will keep my eye on it? Just two weeks now and no signs of it. May have been replaced by the dealer already or could be just waiting to happen.

We had our 2014 360PDEK one month and it did the exact same. I just want to get the supplies and do it myself. They had their turn.
