New Sandpiper 380bh5

Has anybody seen these? Thoughts?. Looks like it is about exactly how I would build my dream camper, but would like a 1/2 bath.
Was fixing to order a Sabre 36qbok, but just saw these.....has me thinking about this one now.

Don't downplay the half bath and 2nd door access....I'm obviously a 36QBOK owner. Are the outside kitchens equal? Good luck choosing.

No the outside kitchen doesnt have a cook stove, has a bumper mount grille instead, but does have more counter space.
And yes my wife and I were just talking and with 4 baths in our house and another 3/4 bath in the garage, I think that 1 bath would not be enough for us now, especially with our littlest camper now a "big boy" and potty trained. That 2nd entrance to the 1/2 bath would be great with all the little bladders around!
If it just had the 2nd bath, I could add a cook top and this would be a PERFECT camper! But they didnt ask me!!!! Great camper otherwise. The best 5 slide layout that I've seen, in my opinion.

Nice unit, but when travelling and stopping for lunch, kitchen is not accessible unless the slides are open which for me is not functional.....

You sound like you're scouring the floorplan about as much as I did prior to the purchase. I figured the missing grill in the sabre outside kitchen was easy to fix, and I think I like my Weber Q200 better. I just extended the gas piping and added a couple more quick connects, and set the Weber up to run off of the camper. This is a nice rival, if you haven't seen it http://www.generalrv.com/product/new...75bhfs-55082-5 it should have everything you want.

Looked at these online, but I'm just not sure about them. Not having the 1/2 bath and no dining options are big negatives for me. I do like all the lounging space though.

For some reason, the Sabre brochure doesn't show the super lounge option, but the unit can be ordered with it, as ours has it. Something else to consider, I should have pics of ours in the link in my sig.

Yes, we looked at that, the gateway 5 slide, avalanche, open range, columbus, all the Sandpiper/ seirras ( except this one) crusaders, and keep going back to the sabre.

I'm totally pleased with the Sabre. I think it's maybe only second to that Jayco that I linked to, but at $15-20K less, I'm not so sure the Sabre's second. We love the super lounge. I don't think we ever use the tables for it.
