No power to slides
So I wanted to close the slides on our six slide 379 FL OK where the middle two and the back bedroom two are all on a hydraulic system. It's in my driveway and for some reason I had lights and power and everything except the slides. So I switch over to the generator no change. Then I hooked up to the truck after remover land power with the truck pigtail only and truck running. At various stages I would get some power then it would drain and currently the one bedroom slide is halfway out and the battery's dead so I pulled all power from the RV and put a battery charger on the battery. Right now we are living in the RV as the sale of our home August 11 is happening and we are going full-time. No furniture in the house and I'm scratching my head how to get the slides the rest of the way out. Currently I am charging the battery. I was doing this to see the available space under the bed with the slides all the way in. I still believe there is a large area that can have a compartment built for usage

Ok so after I charged the battery slides go back out. Back to land power, but don't totally understand what power does what. Eventually I'll get it all down

It sounds like you have an issue with your 12v system as your slides operate on 12v not 120.
My GUESS is your converter/inverter is not operating properly. If your plugged into shore power, it should be providing 12v to all systems and it is not.
Check your fuses in it

I checked the fuses in the breaker box they were all good and I don't know where any others are. Does it have anything to do with whether the burgers on or off? Once the battery drained it didn't seem to matter what kind of power over to the RV and we know that after I charge the battery I was able to get back to slides out and able to go to land power and it's all good

It sounds to me like your inverter is not getting power to your 12v system.
Get the meter out and start tracing it back.
Without a schematic for your unit, I can't really help you more than that.
All your 12v power is coming from your battery from what you said, so you need a schematic to trace it down in the system.

Thanks. I'll try a FR tech and ask some questions. Kinda new at this which isn't good when we're going full time soon [emoji1317]

How old is the battery?
What year is your rig?

Dead battery.
You say it is in your driveway? Has the trailer been plugged in all this time (since may) or just when you tried to move the slides.
A fully charged battery will drain within 1 week while unplugged.
Charge your battery and get things going. Hopefully you did not kill the battery to the point of replacement.

You need a full battery to run the slides and the help from the converter to keep up with the demand of them opening. Battery not charged and converter not on, bat. goes fast. Converter or TV not enough by themselves. My instructions say, Full bat. and shore power.

Just a pet peeve... it is a CONverter not an INverter.
CONverter takes 120v AC and produces 12v DC.
INverter takes 12v DC and producess 120v AC

Thanks. Charge the battery with a battery charger and within an hour was able to get the slides back out. Someone else had said to keep the disconnect on so I did. It's been plugged into shore power from the house for weeks but at times on sure whether to have the inverter button pushed or not. Still not 100% sure about the whole how to electrical system right now everything's fine. I'm sure I'll have some bumps along the way but this forum has been fantastic for us learning

You may have both.
Most units with a residential style refrigerator have an inverter to run the fridge while on the road.
And to muddy up the waters further... some inverters can have battery charging circuitry in them but we won't go there in this discussion.
But for the sake of simplicity... converters charge the battery and provide 12v when hooked to shore power or a generator.
Inverters supply 120v to (most likely) a residential refrigerator and maybe an outlet near the television.
