Nice rig you are going to love it. Can't go wrong with the b&w. on my old truck I ran 68 lbs in my bags. We also lost the idler pulley last summer on the old truck unfortunately it took out my motor, she got way to hot on us by the time we could pull over safely and caused a lot of damage. We dealt with rvwholesalers on our trailer before our sierra and had a great experience with them as well. Congrats on the new unit.

Nice looking rig, congrats! I'm jealous, still waiting on mine, prolly another two weeks! I assume you're home by now, how was the trip, fuel mileage, towing in the hills(mountains) etc. we need details man!! Mine will be virtually the same size as yours, what's it like pulling that big sucker, going around corners, finding gas stations you can actually get into. Making that long haul, you were initiated fast! Did you have a 5'er before or move up from a TT? Thanks in advance!

Well, trip is starting to not be fun. Made it to western Nebraska in Kimball and lost the injectors in my truck. Was cruising at 75-83 mph and it pulled it great (I have it chipped). Has yet to shift down from 6th gear on any hill and leave it on cruise. Winds over 20 mph are a little rough. I was worried at first since we left Ohio and it was windy, but the rest of the drive has been a joy. I have the slip on mirror extensions and wish I had the larger mirrors, but I can get by for now. Air bags at 70 psi and have dropped to 60 psi and it rides well.

Wheels on the trailer are far enough forward that it is as easy to get into tight spaces as my 8' X 24' goose neck cattle trailer. Most gas stations have 14' clearance. Just need to look for your way out! May add a camera to rear just to see what is going on behind me.

I have yet to get in a situation where I need to slide the 5th wheel 12" back to turn. Sure is easy to hook and unhook. Very well balanced trailer. Pulls nice. Been let a 23 year old drive for a while.

Mileage is right at 18.5 mpg empty for the 2300 miles at a moving average of 81 mph (from GPS). Mileage so far has been 10.2 mpg at 61 mph moving average. Chicago hurt the average. I have the front and rear tires at 80 psi. Usually run 50 psi empty.

Injectors are a real downer, but truck has 169,600 miles on it so I guess it was time. I really like my truck and have been very impressed with it on this trailer.

I did sit in a brand new 2015 Chevy 2500 today. Sweet truck. That will he my next upgrade but I will keep my 2007 for the farm.

Replacing all 8. Check the 4 on one side and it had 1 bad, 1 questionable, and 2 good. He was going to check other side and I told him to just get all 8 ordered and not waste any more time with a truck with 170,000 miles. Bill is going to hurt, but the 2015 listed for $60,000+ so fix this one!

Good call! Thats one reason why I take a credit card with me when we take a trip. You never know.

My cousin called me yesterday, on thier way back from a funeral in Houston. Lost power on thier dmax. Ended up they got some fuel with some h2o in it and were trying to change the filter. I had to walk them thru the filter process over the phone, guess they didn't know about the bleeder screw. Anyway they made it back. You never know.

Hope the rest of your trip is uneventful!!

Wow, pulling that big rig 75-83 mph, that's really hauling! Didn't think you could safely pull them that fast. I've pulled my 35' TT those speeds but not for a sustained period, usually stay around 65-70 on long trips. Sorry to hear about the injector problem!
