Smile Question concerning 365saq with painted cap

Just purchased above model, but have not had the privileged to bring it home yet (have to wait till power company raises a low hanging wire down my street).
I have searched all over with no luck, but I know someone on here can answer my simple question. On the outside of this model up high by the awning there is a power outlet. If I plug in my patio lights in that outlet can I turn them off from a switch inside the camper?

Thanks!!

outlet

I was told by my dealer that you could. BUT we have not tried it out ourselves. We just picked our 365 SAQ up a few a couple of weeks ago. These things are awsome.

Yes they are awesome!!!
But that's where I'm confused because our salesman said that you could, but on the walk through the guy said that, that outlet stays hot. So I don't know who's correct....
crossing fingers that its the salesman.

OK I can answer my own question now. You can not turn lights off from that outlet. It stays hot, what a bummer, won't be climbing a ladder every time I wanna switch them on or off.

Why don't you just get one of those extension cords with a switch on the end. Works like a charm for our Christmas tree lights and I think it would work great for this application as well.

Yeah I'm going to do that. Just would have been more convenient with an interior switch.
