I ended up giving it away withen the 1st week we had it and bought our current mattress off the Internet. I think $500 is pretty good for a good quality mattress. I've got a genuine SleepNumber in the house and it cost a heck of a lot more then the bed in my rig which sleeps just as good. I figure I spend 1/3 of my life in bed and I'm going to be comfortable. If I'd have known about this bed before I bought my SleepNumber I would have bought it instead. The reason I have a 5th wheel travel trailer is to be comfortable while I travel. I'm not scrimping on a bed.

Actually, on every trailer I've bought, the first thing I do is get the dealer to swap the matress for one from a high-end RV... they're generally much better.
On a replacement, some folks have been saying nice things about the bed-in-a- box thingies that are on the market now...

Our neighbour just replaced his queen size in his RV with one and loves it.
