We tried a little bit of everything to make our mattress comfortable and thought since it was an upgraded Serta it was a "comfortable" one. i looked online at the mattress model code and found it was a serta mattress made for motels! After almost 18months of toppers and and everything else we gave up and went to a furniture store and spent $700 on a real mattress and put it in our camper. We do so enjoy camping so much more now. I admit that is a lot for a "camper mattress" but when you are in your '60s and wake up sore it just ruins the whole trip. I think my wife put it best. Life is too short to spend our travel times not resting comfortably so ........

Oh yeah, if you go to our sons house and stay the night let him know the mattress in his spare bedroom is way to uncomfortable to sleep on

We got a 3" mem foam topper from costco, $110 or so last year, comes with a cover to hold it in place. WOW! It was so good we got one for our house bed too.

I bought a 4 inch serta mattress topper and it's really comfy. I bought a cheaper one for the other bed but it isn't so great. I'll have to get another one or add a 2 inch topper because it was only 2 inches. Most of that was the egg shell type fingers sticking up.

We got the same deal at Costco and it is a night and day difference. Previously after two nights I would have had all I could take sleeping on the mattress that came with the TT. We spent 7 nights over Spring Break and I was just as comfortable as being at home. Wish I have found that Costco deal earlier, could have save myself $1900.

We went the whole enchilada and found a Queen for $500 and then got a bunch of great closeout deals on their 700 thread count sheet sets. 2 sets for all 5 beds and memory foam pillows for all the beds for just under $900. Sheets are not cheap.

We ended up with the same mattress as we have in our home!!
