Just bear in mind that "selection" is an option. You still need to consider where you are, the level stability of your fiver, and counterbalance of weight.
Example; select parking sites at rest areas that allow level parking and slide out protection. On my Silverback, I generally shut off all but kitchen refer slide for quick meal prep. In doing so, I find a safe spot and take it out half way. I walk around outside and place an orange warning cone for those drivers not paying attention.
Enjoy your new fifth wheel. Be safe and don't let small operational issues ruin your trips. Only those involving SAFETY are really important.
Go on line and buy yourself a surge protector. If you doubt their importance, just flip over to Cedar Creek on this same forum and read up! Progressive makes a great portable unit. Sells for like $325 with a safety cable and lock.
Safe, fun travels!
