Slide out seals sandpiper

My slide out seals at the top of two of my slides are gummy and totally coming apart on my 335qbq that is only 2 years old. I wash then and have used conditioner on them as well. This is the seal that stays on the side if the RV and is stapled to the fiberglass. There is a black goo on the inside of the slide piece that seals to this when closed. Any help or suggestions is appreciated

Might be the conditioner. I dont use it and my 2+ year seals are fine. If they are coming apart, you'll have to replace them.

Thanks. I talked to Forrest river they too said to replace. I think this is due to the vibration issues in the coach so I am putting Trailair on the unit. Hope that keeps it from happening.

I have the same problem with seals on my Lexington motorhome. Two Forest River dealers were not help. Who did you contact at Forest River? I can't find a phone or email for the company

My dealer told me to use silicone spray or baby powder on the seals.

I Have read online that baby powder is not good. I ordered the seals direct from the factory for about 300 total. And the "d" seal just slides right in place. The issue to me is they should not fail so quickly. It's been a while now and new replacements seem ok. I did add trailaire hitch and equalizer s which help overall movement in the slides.

A new problem I have is all the stickers on one side and the front are pealing. Including the Forrest River logo. They want major dollars for these. Any suggestions?..
