TV in bedroom of 365SAQ

Has anyone mounted a TV in the master bedroom of the 365?

If you are asking where to mount it, it should be above the dresser, on the right side. If you look closely, you will see the wallpaper 'strips' that run up and down the wall. Those SHOULD cover the aluminum studs of the camper. You can mount a swing out, or a stationary mount on one of the studs closer to the right side using 1 1/4"-1 1/2" self tapping screws to hold it. SOME of the '12 units came with a 3/4" piece of wood, or compressed particle board between the studs. You will have to tap on it and see if there is a difference that can be noticed. I put mine on the studs in my 355, but have not put one in my 365 as I just don't watch TV much anymore.

Thanks!! I will get my husband to look at it again. He was leery of putting it up there.

Use this type of bolt/screw in the largest diameter that will go through the mount.

I've run a very good stud finder over the surface of my late model '12 (2 window) and have not found a backer plate at all. To me the studs are too far apart and won't mount the size of TV we use. We've committed to using the dresser and a stand tv.

Thats what we use. When traveling the TV rides on the bed.

I have been putting it in the closet but was trying to eliminate some of the "breakdown" when it's time to leave.

Stud finder is the first step. Find that small stud.

The problem with the 365saq (at least my 2012), is there's not a stud that is centered on the wall. You would have to use an offset arm mount, which may be fine for a small tv, but not a 32" or bigger. The one possibility I thought of, was to stretch something between the two studs, and mount in the middle that way. Maybe creating a cabinet or shelf on either side.

How big of a TV are you guys using? Just curious. I've never thought of putting that big of one up there. I had a 30" in the 355 which had the same wall dresser configuration.

Sorry..it my post was supposed to say 20" TV but my big fingers and my phone don't work well together sometimes. Keep in mind that these are aluminum studs and should be behind each of the wallpaper strips. If you hit one of those, and use a strap much like the one on the main TV, they will be there forever. Just make sure you pad where the strap goes around the tv edges with a microfiber cloth or equivalent so you don't scratch the tv. I will go back and try to find pics of my other camper if I can, to show you what I'm talking about.
