TV through stereo
I have 2014 35ROK Sandpiper.
Can you play the TV sound through the built in stereo?
The TV sound is terrible!

Hmmm.....thanks, guess I'll keep messing with it to see if I can figure out how to get the TV to output to the stereo speakers.

I have not has any of my trailers hooked up to the stereo speakers by default. On our Mini Lite I opened up the radio and behind it was a whole bunch of unused RCA type jacks. Ran a L and R stereo to the TV's RCA hookups and had surround sound.

We had to change the input/output source on the stereo then turn down/off the volume on the television to avoid echo sounds on the surround sound speakers. Just gotta play with the remotes until you figure it out!

The quick and easy way is to run a patch cable from the TV audio out to the entertainment centers audio in. Usually there is an audio in located on the front that takes a 3.5 mm mini. The TV may have the same or most likely standard RCA jacks.

As previously mentioned, there has to be a connection from the TV to the stereo. Assuming the cables are there, check the input or sound source menu on the stereo. There should be options for FM, CD, TV, etc. I had the cable connection...just had to play with the menu.

Frustrating to say the least!
I can't even get the setup menu to come up. Guess I will have to pull the radio and see if they ever hooked the RCA cables up.

I open my remote menu, and go to 'HDMI ARC' or something similar..... (Audio Return Channel). The TV has to be capable of doing it. Then it works.
(I learned all that on here!)

Not familiar with your particular unit but in a previous Rockwood could play tv sound thru stereo by selecting the input on the radio to something like A/V . This presumes an input is connected from tv sound out ( usually red and white jumpers) going to radio

From the headunit (if has a DVD player in it) to tv they use rca composite cables (red yellow white). Unhook them on the tv side and use a female rca (red n white) to 3.5mm mini stereo cable plug it in to the headphone port on tv. Pull the headunit out. Unplug red/white rca and use another Y to 3.5mm. Plug that in to the AUX input in front. Look for one with a L elbow to make it cleaner.
Prob solved.

Does it have the stock crappy sound bar? Your TV will have an optical out, or RCA out into the bar then you have to select that input on the sound bar.

No it doesn't. I've ordered an RCA to 3.5 cable and will plug it into the front AUX to see if I can get it to play that way. If it does then I'll work on tracing the cables from radio into wall to be sure they are actually connected!
